Outreach
Bradford Leonard and Heather Appleby have arranged to start-up our beginner astro-classes at Richland College starting on Friday, September 7th at 7PM. Bradford will lead the classes this year.
The Class will be held on the first Friday evening of each month.
A star party follows the 1 hour class outside the classroom (weather permitting)- PARK in LOT E, the Yegua Building is next to the parking lot. We will be in Classroom 101.
Please plan to attend these monthly classes and support our outreach activities. TAS members are encouraged to assist with the class and to bring a telescope for either solar observing before the class starts and or for the evening star gazing after the class.
