Jinghua Optics and Electronics Co., Ltd. (JOC) was founded in 1997 in China by Mr. He Jian, an optical engineer who is the company's CEO.
JOC is an owner of Explore Scientific (USA), BRESSER (Germany), and Maxvision (China).
JOC designs, manufactures, and sells telescopes, binoculars, microscopes, optoelectronic instruments and optical components, including optoelectronic and lens modules for mobile phones, mini projectors, and digital cameras. The company is one of the largest, most diversified, and division specialized manufacturers in China's Optoelectronic industry.
The company has two manufacturing facilities in China: Guangzhou and Kunming, with it's headquarters located in Guangzhou.
Outreach
JOC supports ongoing educational public outreach in astronomy through its partner companies Explore Scientific, BRESSER, and Maxvision. These activities have included donations to encourage scientific literacy, star party events for the public, and eclipse expeditions.
